WOW: Hard to believe it is already November! A little shorter report this week…hard to write much when it blows twenty plus for days; but here’s a quick look at what to expect.
OFFSHORE- Looks like another blowout coming up this weekend. Minus a little weather window early in the week (Monday afternoon/Tuesday), the ocean hasn't really let anybody offshore. A few scattered dolphin for those that did make it out, along with a few scattered kingfish. Did see a couple nice cobia caught out of Jupiter. I'd love to tell you more...but well it's windy and that's all I have this week.
INSHORE- Snook fishing remains good inshore. A fair number of snook being caught in the Loxahatchee River during the day. Early morning is best, but windy conditions will help to keep them biting a little better throughout the day. The snook also continue to bite around the bridges at night. A few big jacks in the mix as well. Other inshore action remains a bit slow.
SURF/PIER- Looks like it maybe a little tough to fish from the beach this weekend, but the Juno Beach Pier remains a good option. This week has seen a nice mixed bag of action at the pier. Bluefish action remains good; with an assortment of lures and cut baits working for them. Spanish Mackerel are also around and biting white crappie jigs well. Pompano action also continues to improve, with bright colored Doc's Goofy Jigs being the lure of choice. The Juno Beach Pier also had a few snapper this week, along with a couple of redfish. Overall pretty good fishing...you just have to deal with the wind and a crowd!
