Juno Bait's "Weekend Fishing Outlook"
For Weekend of 11/4-11/6/2022
OFFSHORE- Bit of a windy weekend ahead...to put it mildly. A few days of NE wind in the forecast (unfortunately without much of a temperature drop) could really fire the sailfish up. Look for 150-250' to be about right for the sails. Dolphin reports have been good this week in 200-400' of water. The dolphin should slide into the same depth range as the sailfish. Both the sails and dolphin should jump all over a live goggle eye or small blue runner fished under a kite. Wahoo reports were good again this week. Split tail mullet or a big bonita strip fished behind a planer or trolling sinker is a good way to go for the wahoo. Bottom fishing reports early in the week were pretty good; though conditions likely won't really make it worth trying on the bottom this weekend.
INSHORE- Snook fishing remains good inshore. Seems like just about every time it seems the mullet are gone a few more pods roll through. With no significant temperature drops the snook have still been eating the bigger baits well. Flair Hawk Jigs, 5" NLBN paddle tails, and live mulletother continue to get bites. As the temperatures drop the snook will really begin to key in on shrimp and smaller baits. Those baits will no doubt get bites now; but the bigger lures/baits are still in play for sure right now. Still a few tarpon floating around the Loxahatchee River, along with some big jacks. Closer to the inlets the smaller jacks have been around in pretty good numbers.
SURF/PIER- Dirty water along the beach has the fishing very very slow this week. The Juno Beach Pier has been slow as well with the dirty water. At time of writing the water has started to clear a bit along the beach: Fingers crossed it continues that way. Been a fair number of small jacks and some ribbonfish around. A very occasional pompano report or two this week, but not much. With any luck the NE wind in the forecast will get some fish pointed in our direction. Expect to see a fair number of Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, and hopefully pompano in the very near future. The sharks are around in good numbers.

FRI...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 5 ft, occasionally to 6 ft. Period 6 seconds. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas.
SAT...E NE winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts to around 25 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft, occasionally to 8 ft. E NE swell 3 ft in the afternoon. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas.
SUN...NE winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts to around 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft, occasionally to 9 ft. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas. A slight chance of showers.
MON...N NE winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts to around 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft, occasionally to 9 ft. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop. A chance of showers in the afternoon.
