Juno Bait's "Weekend Fishing Outlook"
For Weekend of 11/10-11/13/23
OFFSHORE- It's by no means a perfect forecast offshore this weekend; but it's a lot better than what we have been dealing with (Notice I threw Monday in on the weather report...it actually waits till after the weekend to really blow up!). This week has seen nicer conditions and more boats have been making it out the inlet for sure. Good dolphin fishing this week; with both numbers and size being pretty good. Best depth has bounced around a bit, but 250-400' continues to produce well. Trolling bonita strips and squid has been producing; as has drifting productive areas and chumming and chunking. Sailfish action remains fair. No big numbers, but most boats with the kites up continue to get a few chances. A handful of cobia around this week, along with some nice tripletails (check the picture below, compliments of Jeff www.gofishjupiter.com, of a sick triple tail catch early in the week.) Bottom fishing reports remain good, with some good snapper catches continuing to come in. Sardines and squid remain the baits of choice on the bottom.
INSHORE- This week saw a little late season push of mullet come through and the fish were close behind; with snook and some big jacks providing most of the action. Best action will be early in the morning and then again late in the afternoon. Try to fish areas with a little less boat traffic for the best results. Live mullet fished along seawalls and under boat docks with current moving past shouldn't go unnoticed for long. Early morning the snook will also still jump all over a properly presented Yo-Zuri Hydro Pencil or Topknock Pencil. The bridge snook bite at night also remains good. Starting to move into shrimp jig season; but flair hawks and swimbaits continue to get the job done. Othe inshore action is a bit slow; but won't be long before the winter sheepshead and black drum should start showing up.
SURF/PIER- Really good fishing along the beach and at the Juno Beach Pier this week; with a good mixture of multiple species around. Spanish Mackerel action has been really good. Most of the Macs are coming on lures; with white JYG Pro Crappie jigs, Got-Cha's, small spoons, and other assorted jigs working the best. The Spanish Mackerel will often bite throughout the day. but expect the best bite to happen early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Mixed in with the Spanish Mackerel will be a good number of bluefish. The same lures listed above will catch the blues; but for exciting vicious strikes nothing beats a noisy topwater popper. Plenty of jacks mixed in with the bluefish as well. Pompano action has been good this week, with good numbers of good size fish around. On the beach it will be sand fleas and FishBites for the pomps. The same baits will work on the Juno Beach Pier, but for hard hits and lots of fun try jigging for them with a bright colored Doc's Goofy Jig. And in good and/or bad news depending on how you look at it... With all the life around the sharks are also here in big numbers. Yes they are annoying when they eat your pompano; but man it's cool to watch them smash a topwater too! Overall good fishing this week...get after it if you can!

SUN AND SUN NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft, occasionally to 5 ft. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.
MON...E NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Along the coast, seas 3 to 5 ft, occasionally to 6 ft. In the Gulf Stream, seas 3 to 5 ft, occasionally to 6 ft building to 5 to 7 ft, occasionally to 9 ft. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop. A slight chance of showers.
